3. Non-Woven Fabrics

Non-woven fabrics skip traditional spinning, weaving, or knitting steps. Instead, they are made by bonding fiber layers or yarns through mechanical entanglement, chemical adhesives, thermal fusion, or stitching, resulting in fabrics with either oriented or randomly arranged fibers.

 

Key Characteristics:

  • Typically fluffy, lightweight, and highly breathable.
  • Cost-effective and quick to produce compared to woven or knitted fabrics.
