Biodegradable clothing is a great solution here. We need to encourage more brands to invest in researching and using these materials so that when consumers are done with their garments, they don't become waste that lasts forever in landfills.

Representative 1: Brands need to slow down the production cycle and focus on quality. Instead of churning out new styles every week, we should create collections that have longevity. Our brand has started to do this by creating core pieces in our sustainable apparel lines that can be mixed and matched and worn for multiple seasons.
Representative 2: And as designers, we can play a role in educating consumers about the value of buying fewer but better-quality items. We can use our platforms to showcase how sustainable fashion can be both stylish and practical, and how it's different from the disposable nature of fast fashion.
Representative 3: Also, there should be more transparency in the supply chain. Consumers want to know where their clothes are coming from and how they're made. If we can show that our sustainable affordable fashion is truly sustainable from start to finish, including aspects like proper chemical waste management from chemical recycling of plastics and eco friendly manufacturing processes, it will build trust and encourage more people to choose sustainable options.
